RAYONG - Thailand’s auto business is expected to grow this year, despite the current political turmoil, with a forecast production volume of 2.6 million units.

Piengjai Kaewsuwan, chairman of the Thai Automotive Industry Association, said the Bangkok shutdown by anti-government protesters on January 13 will affect car sales volume in the country in regards to inconveniences to buyers which could postpone their decisions to buy cars.

Throughout the year, she believed the domestic auto sales will reach 1-1.2 million units.

The production volume in 2014 is expected to reach 2.55-2.6 million units, an increase from last year’s production at 2.49 million units as a result of car stocks from the government’s first-car buyer scheme.

Ms Piengjai said Thailand’s economic forecast this year sees a positive growth of gross domestic product (GDP), therefore the country’s auto industry expects domestic auto market sales to register positive growth as well.

She noted that usually the auto industry has the opportunity to grow by itself owing to new car innovation and new car models continously launched. Other factors encouraging purchasing power are lower interest rates and world oil prices expected at US$100/barrel.

อันเนื่องจากโลกดูเหมือนไร้พรมแดนแต่ก็ยังคงมีพรมแดนในเรื่องอำนาจอธิปไตยและความเป็นส่วนตนในสิทธิที่ต้องรักษาผลประโยชน์ทางการเมือง การปกครอง การค้า และการตลาดอยู่ในรัฐประเทศอันเป็นอิสสระต่อกัน แต่ก็มีการร่วมมือซึ่งกันและกันในการที่จะดำรงความเป็นชาติของตน เช่นไม่มีการมารังเกียจเดียดฉันท์ ในเรื่องเลือกปฎิบัติสารพัดสารเพ ในสิทธินอกสภาพอาณาเขตเหมือนอย่างสมัยโบร่ำโบราณ เป็นต้น  และที่แน่ๆคือเพื่อสร้างความสมดุลแห่งโลกนี้ด้วยการแบ่งปันผลประโยชน์ให้แก่ประชาชนตาดำๆของโลกนี้อย่างเป็นธรรม  ประโยชน์ของประชาชนของประเทศใคร ผู้ดูแลซึ่งกันและกันในหน้าที่ทั้งอย่างเป็นทางการและไม่เป็นทางการในระดับทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนย่อมรักและหวงแหน รวมไปทั้งต้องปกป้องผลประโยชน์ของประเทศทุกวิถีทาง รักษาความเป็นชาติ และไม่ยอมให้รัฐอื่นใดมาเอาเปรียบคนพลเมืองในประเทศของตน ในทุกรูปแบบ การปกป้องเหล่านี้ เพื่อรักษาสัมพันธภาพและรักษาความสุขกินดีอยู่ดีในระดับพอดีของพลเมือง ไม่ใช่ว่าแร้นแค้นก็เป็นอยู่เช่นนั้นชั่วนาตาปี ส่วนที่มีมากมายล้นเหลือก็ไม่เอาตรงที่ล้นเหลือไปทำกองทุนปราบพวกคอรัปชั่น ที่คอยเกาะกินคนจน อ้างคนจนบังหน้า ทำนาบนหลังคนและกิจการอื่นที่ต้องสร้างการพัฒนาทั้งวิทยาศาสตร ศิลปศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี โครงสร้างพื้นฐาน ในประเทศนั้นๆหรือเหลือบอื่นๆที่ทำลายเกาะกินการพัฒนาของประเทศสารพัดวิธีการที่ฝ่ายตรวจสอบและกำกับดูแลลงโทษต้องคอยคุ้มกฏและอำนวยความสะดวก โดยเคารพสิทธิพื้นฐานของการเป็นพลเมือง ในเรื่องงานวิจัยพัฒนาเพื่อให้ได้ผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่หรือบริการ การค้ารูปแบบใหม่ มีค่าใช้จ่าย  และค่าตัวนักวิจัยสูงมาก เพื่อจะได้มีสิ่งใหม่มาขายมาทำรายได้เข้าประเทศ สร้างรายได้เฉลี่ยต่อหัวสูง ไม่ใช่รายได้ตาอหัวสูงติดอันดับโลกอยู่ไม่กี่คน แต่ อีกร้อยล้านคนในประเทศแร้นแค้น บ้าแท้  ไม่ใช่มีกินมีใช้แต่บริษัทใหญ่ที่มีโอกาสเข้าถึงการบริหารปกครองการตัดสินใจของผู้บริหารในส่วนกลางและภูมิภาคได้ง่ายเท่านั้น รายเล็กรายน้อยต้องรับการดูแลไม่ให้รายใหญ่ฉวยประโยชน์ตัดหน้า ต้องอำนวยความสะดวกให้เขา ได้ค้าขายทำธุรกิจ จาก งานฝีมือหรืองานวิชาชีพของตนอย่างเต็มเม็ดเต็มหน่วย ไม่ใช่เบียดเบียน แย่งอาชีพกัน เพราะ งานวิชาชีพ มีอโอกาสมากกว่าพวกมีฝีมืออย่างเดียวแต่ไม่สามารถคิดการ วางแผน วางหมาก ให้ได้ผลกำไรอย่างเป็นธรรมแก่อาชีพของตน บางธุรกิจเกิดมาเพื่อฉวย หากตันแล้วก็ฉวยของคนอื่นมาใช้งาน ไม่จ่ายค่าใช้สมอง ค่าความลับทางการค้า หาดูดข้อมูลตามสื่อเทคโนโลยี อย่างนี้ ผิดจรรยาบรรณการใช้สื่อของโลกเป็นอย่างมาก เรื่องความมั่นคง เราไม่ว่า แต่ เรื่องเอาข้อมูลไปเพื่อเอาเปรียบทางการค้าและการเมืองระหว่างประเทศนั้น เป็นสิ่งไม่เหมาะ และขอสาปให้บริษัทการค้า นั้นเจ้งไม่เป็นท่าในตลาดทุนของโลกทุกตลาดด้วยเถิด  ด้วยอำนาจแห่งแม่มดสปุคคี้ของวันฮัลโลวีนนี้ขอ ให้ประเทศที่ทำตัวไม่เหมาะ ปล่อยให้ บริษัทระดับโลกมาฉวยเอาความริเริ่มของประเทศที่ด้อยเทคโนโลยีปกป้องตนไปทำมาหากินจนหมดสิ้น  โดยพ่อค้าแม่ค้าเล้กๆน้อยไม่มีทางทำมาหากินในการใช้ทรัพย์ทางสมองหรือบริการทางการค้าแบบใหม่ๆของตนได้มั่งคั่งกับเขาบ้าง โดยในระดับในท้องถิ่นในประเทศยังไม่ช่วยกัน เราจะไปแข่งข้ามชาติอย่างไรได้ ต้องช่วยกันทุกภาคส่วนกันอย่างหนักทั้งทางตรงและทางอ้อม

บางประเทศที่พัฒนาแล้ว ย้ายฐานผลิตทางเทคโนโลยีและพลังงาน สารพัด ข้ามน้ำข้ามทะเลมากับโนฮาวแรกเริ่มของเขา มือถือแทบเลต สารพัด เพื่อลดต้นทุน คนมันจะได้เลิกทำยี่ห้อของตัวเอง เลิกเลียนแบบขายเกลื่อน เลิกทำวิจัยพัฒนา เพราะมือถือชื่อดังแบรนด์เนมย้ายฐานมาใช้แรงงานทาสในบางประเทศที่ว่าประชาธิปไตยน้อยมนุษยธรรมน้อย แต่ขอเอารายได้เข้าประเทศมากๆ แบบกินรวมกินกงสีไว้ก่อน อะไรแบบนี้  พวกที่ว่าประชาธิปไตยเยอะและเอกราชยืนอยู่นานานมชาตินิยมเป็นพักๆแต่ไม่มีแบรนเนมเกลื่อนโลกอย่างบางประเทศ ที่รัฐเอกชนช่วยกัน ออกกฎและแบ่งปันความได้เปรียบทางการค้าและผลกำไรมาพัฒนาประเทศโดยรวม ปราบคอรัปชั่นอย่างจริงจัง มองเห็นทำตาวาว อยู่เยอะ รอบๆอาเซียนของเราเนี่ย เผลอไม่ได้ ทำใบเสนอราคาสินค้า เอาเงินเข้าประเทศทันที โดยทุกวิถีทาง ทั้ง ทางลับและเปิดเผย รักประเทศของตนหนักๆนะพวกเรานักรักมาตรฐานสินค้าที่ไม่ใช่ของประเทศตัวน่ะ  ให้มันพอสมควรแก่เหตุ เห็นใจคนที่เขาสร้างเงินจากทรัพย์สินสมองใสบ้าง ในระดับท้องถิ่นและภายในประเทศนั้นๆ

(CNN) -- Germans may be full of indignation at the alleged tapping of Angela Merkel's phone by the U.S National Security Agency -- but the outrage is more than the disappointment of being betrayed by a friend, for the shadows of Germany's past are never far away.

Not 25 years ago, Chancellor Merkel was a young scientist behind the Iron Curtain. She grew up a pastor's daughter which, under one party Communist rule in East Germany, put her on the fringes of society. People who moved in religious circles were considered problematic because they often did not conform to the party line. And those who didn't follow party rules came under scrutiny, had their choices of a career and a life limited, and sooner or later became a case for the Stasi, the secret police of East Germany.

It was the Stasi, the "shield and sword" of the Communist party, that was charged with ensuring the power of the party. And it did that mostly by monitoring of people and their behavior. Because even in a regime as repressive as East Germany, people wanted to express who they really were. Many found the courage to follow their hearts and thus became a danger to the existing power structure. That is why the Stasi became an all-encompassing entity in East Germany. It had to have its eyes and ears everywhere possible to make sure "enemies" of the party were uncovered early and disrupted in their activity.

How will NSA spying hit US-German relations?

With the US and Germany falling out over revelations the National Security Agency (NSA) tapped Chancellor Angela Merkel’s phone, The Local asks if the scandal will cause long-term damage between the two countries.

On Sunday Germany’s outgoing foreign minister Guido Westerwelle warned of a break in relations between the US and its key European ally. Articles in the German press, meanwhile, have questioned whether the two countries really are friends.

Politicians and the press have echoed  the German public's reaction of outrage and shock.

On Thursday Westerwelle took the unusual step of summoning the US ambassador in Berlin. He later warned that spying on friends and partners “threatens to undermine the bonds which hold us together and which we need more than ever in the future in the globalized world of the 21st Century.”
